Navan O Mahony’s training times 2021

We are delighted that Navan O’Mahonys are back training for all underage teams. We encourage as many of you as possible to get out training in the blue and white again. See the times and locations below.  

6th class fundraiser

Hi everyone, The girls and boys from 6th class along with Mr. Brennan wanted to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. We are learning about the USA in Geography and so we decided to try and cycle across as many States as possible from our school yard on an exercise bike. We all get a chance to cycle in 20 minute blocks everyday while listening to music on our.

Webwise Internet Safety

Webwise is an internet safety initiative focused on raising awareness of online safety issues and good practice among students, their parents and teachers. Funded by the Department of Education and Skills, and the EU Safer Internet Programme, developed and managed by the Professional Development Service for Teachers (Technology in Education) to promote the autonomous, effective and safer use of the internet by young people through a sustained information and awareness.

News since our return to school in February

We have been very busy in all the classes since we returned to school starting in February with our Speech & Language class, on March 1st for our Juniors to 2nd class and on March 15th for our senior pupils. The Junior classes were very lucky to get a visit from Áine Murray, author of The Pain in the Chest. 2nd class have also been very busy gardening with Ms.

Seesaw

Dear parents, As you are aware, all classes are using the Seesaw platform to record their homework and send to their class teacher electronically. There is great excitement and buzz around the school this week as we wish Mr. Brennan the very best of luck in the Leinster final against Dublin this Saturday. We are all very proud of Mr. Brennan and his achievements with the Meath Senior team this year. We will be watching and cheering him on. Up the Royals!
