We have a great tradition of musical participation in St Anne’s. Every Christmas the children in St Anne’s take part in a Christmas Carol Service in St Mary’s Church. This is a wonderful evening of music and song and is a great way for the wider St Anne’s community to get into the Christmas spirit.

The school choir (3rd – 6th class) also performs each year for the First Holy Communion to help make the day more special for the children from 2nd class.

The children from 3rd – 6th class learn the tin-whistle each year and most classes perform this instrument at the Annual St Patrick’s Day CeilĂ which celebrates our Irish culture and traditions during Seachtain na Gaeilge.

Alongside all this, pupils in St Anne’s also have the opportunity to take part in after school music lessons with Kieran Holt. A range of instruments are offered to the pupils including, guitar, piano, clarinet and saxaphone.
