Last week was maths week. We had a maths trail, maths stations and we even made cupcakes. We did the maths trail on Wednesday.In groups we went around the school to count windows and measure yards and solve some word problems.
After that really fun lesson on Wednesday we did fun maths stations on Thursday. For the stations we had five stations with different maths games such as a dice multiplication game, a pizza fraction game, a station with maths games on Chromebooks, a station with multiplication flash cards, and a station where our teacher helped us with our multiplication sums.
After that amazing day we did something even better. We made CUPCAKES! It was so fun! It does not feel like it has anything to do with maths but there is actually a lot of measuring and that is maths. We also got to decorate our cupcakes, they were really good!
Well, Maths Week was a lot of fun and the teachers were really kind and helpful. I hope we’ll be able to do Maths Week again.
