STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths.
STEAM is an approach to learning that encourages thoughtful risk-taking, experiential learning, persistence in problem solving, embracing collaboration and working through the creative process. Here at St. Anne’s our children love the child-led nature of STEAM. They become innovators, inventors, engineers and artists. We regularly participate in programmes that encourage STEAM, however it is also built into the everyday classroom in our school. Some of the programmes we participate in are:
