The game was in O’Mahony’s and a large crowd of supporters, including pupils, parents and teachers were there to cheer the girls on. Unfortunately we were beaten by a very strong St Oliver’s team and we congratulate them on a great game. While we were disappointed to lose, we are very proud.
We have been very active since our last update following Active Schools Week, our school tour and Sports Day. Active Schools week saw us enjoying many sporting activities such as G.A.A skills, tag rugby, a class walk, athletics, playground games and rounders as well as active breaktimes. Our school tour, along with the 4th classes, was in Lilliput Adventure Centre in Lough Ennell, just outside Mullingar. Despite some unfortunate travel illness,.
