We have been very active since our last update following Active Schools Week, our school tour and Sports Day. Active Schools week saw us enjoying many sporting activities such as G.A.A skills, tag rugby, a class walk, athletics, playground games and rounders as well as active breaktimes. Our school tour, along with the 4th classes, was in Lilliput Adventure Centre in Lough Ennell, just outside Mullingar. Despite some unfortunate travel illness,.

The children of the two second classes made their Communion on Saturday the 10th of May. Their class teachers Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Mc Elwaine are extremely proud of all the hard work the children did in preparation for their special day. Fr. Heery was so impressed with how well the children read their readings and prayers and delighted with the children who did the mime for the Our Father.
