On Tuesday 8th of June our Senior classes decamped to Navan O’Mahony’s campus for our annual sports day. Although the parents were missed the atmosphere was buzzing and the children had a great day. It was lovely after all the hardship of the last year to hear the laughs and see the smiles as the children participated in a variety of sports. Even the big children (teachers) took part in some of the activities. We had a lovely surprise at the end of the day when the ice-cream truck pulled in and treated us all to a lovely cone.
